Match Report:
I went to this match with my Dad. We sat in Block 105 of the Kop like always, so we had a great view of all the action. The atmosphere was loud – even teh Chelsea fans were quite loud.
I was nervous about this game because it was a semi-final and I want us to get to the Final and destroy Barca 8-0! Chelsea made Liverpool play towards the Kop in teh first half, but that was OK because I got to see Dirk’s right in front of me (and Riise’s own goal!!)
For the first half an hour we could hardly get the ball because Chelsea’s passing was great. We settled down after a bit and then we looked good. In fact we looked like the best team in the world. We were tackling well, passing well and we looked like we would score.
After 43 minutes, there was a foul Torres and we got a free kick, that we took quickly. The ball was hit long to Kuyt, who crossed it. Chelsea cleared it but Kuyt made a good tackle on Lampard. He turned around and passed it to Mascherano, who chipped it into the box and Dirk ran onto it and smashed it under Cech’s leg. 1-0!!
We could have scored two or three in the first half – Torres had two chances, and Dirk had another, and Gerrard had a shot from outside the box.
In the second half we were much better than Chelsea. Gerrard had a curling shot that Cech tipped over the bar and we looked like we were going to win quite easily. But then, Kalou got the ball on the left and took on Mascherano and Arbeloa, flicked a cross into the box and Anelka was coming in on the back post. Riise got in front of Anelka and he should have cleared it with his right foot, but because he doesn’t like to use his right foot he dived to head it. He headed it straight past Pepe!! 1-1 in the 94th minute!
Even though Chelsea have the away goal, I know we will get to the final. We’ll just have to go to Stamford Bridge and beat them! 2-1 will be a good score.

Match Report:
What a match! I was a mascot (you can read about that in my diary) which was amazing! Me and my Dad watched the match in the Kop, and my Mum and my Sister, watched it in the main stand.
The atmosphere was great – it was loud – really loud! We didn’t stop singing all game, even when Arsenal were winning.
Arsenal played really well to start with – we couldn’t get the ball. Eventually Diaby scored with a hard, low shot at Reina’s near post. Disaster! If it stayed like this, we would be out! But teh lads came back and scored a great goal when Hyypia got away from Senderos and powered a header past Almunia and over Fabregas, who was on the line. Game on! We looked much better towards the end of the first half, but it went in 1-1 at half-time.
In the second half we were playing much better. We were passing well and Arsenal were beginning to look tired. With about 20 minutes, Torres got the ball at the edge of the box with his back to the goal. He turned and fired a hard shot into the top corner. We went mad singing the Fernando Torres song and bouncing up and down. This was way more like it, man!
We were looking good until Stevie took a shot but missed the ball. Walcott got it and ran from his own half, leaving players tripped up behind him. He passed it to Adebayor who slotted it in. Oh no! 2-2. We were out on away goals if it stayed like this. I wasn’t sure if we could do it, but my Dad was.
Straight after the Arsenal goal, Babel came running down the wing, went towards the box, took on Fabregas, who pulled him, and sent him crashing into Toure, who pulled him to the ground. Penalty!! The Kop went crazy! Up stepped Gerrard. Bang, into the corner of the net. 3-2!!
Arsenal attacked, but into injury time, Kuyt cleared a corner and Babel chased the ball. Only Fabregas was back for Arsenal, and Babel steamed passed him to be one-on-one with Almunia. Bang! 18 yards out and tucked it past the keeper into the net. 4-2!! Game over!
What a match!!

Match Report:
This was on TV, and me, my Dad and Grandad all watched it together.
I was nervous because Arsenal are a good team. But we played really, especially in the first half. Arsenal started well, and after 20 minutes scored a goal when Arsenal got a corner. van Persie passed to Fabregas, and Fabregas passed it back to van Persie who crossed it into the box. Adebayour got free of his marker and headed it into the net. Disaster. 1-0!
But then, just a few minutes later, Babel passed to Gerrard who passed to Torres who gave it back to Gerrard, who ran into the box past Toure and made a great passed it across the six yard area and Kuyt came sliding in and scored! 1-1. That’s more like it.
Arsenal had more possession than us, and we were under a lot of pressure, but at half-time it was still 1-1.
In the second half Arsenal were all over us. It was very nerve-wracking. I was sure Arsenal would score again but we defended really well – Even Kuyt was playing at right back some of the time! In fact, we were a bit lucky not to give away a penalty when Kuyt tackled Hleb in the box. I didn’t think it was a real penalty, but sometimes the ref gives them for that kind of tackle!
So, the match finished 1-1, and it’s off to Anfield next Tuesday to finish the job off!

Match Report:
This was on TV so I could watch it on Sky Sports.
The first half was pretty dull really because we only had four shots – and Inter had 11! They couldn’t score though – we were defending too well. I did think they might score – 3 times – but they couldn’t because Pepe was too good and made some great saves.
Even though we didn’t have many shots we played well, but I couldn’t help being a bit nervous because Inter are a good side. I was relieved to see us go in 0-0 at half time.
In the second half, we looked more attacking, and we got lucky because Burdisso got sent off for Inter. I didn’t think he deserved to be sent off because it wasn’t a bad foul. but never mind, it was good for us.
We were having lots of attacks. Babel was playing OK, Kuyt was doing quite well, and Gerrard and Torres looked good. But then, Torres got the ball on the edge of the area. He was facing away from the goal but he controlled it, span round and shot – GOOOOOAAAAAAAAAAAL
1-0. We are through! Bye bye Inter
Rafa took Babel off because he had a yellow card and brought Benayoun on, and looked quite good. Inter kept attacking and had shots but they couldn’t get them on target. Mancini tried some subs for Inter, but what was the point? They were never going to score 4 goals to knock us out!
Rafa brought on Pennant for Msch, and Riise for Kuyt, and we just kept hold of the ball until the final whistle went. What a great night!

Match Report:
I was there! On the Kop! Block 105 Row 13. Ace! It was an amazing night. It was so loud and we played brilliantly. Before the match the singing was so loud that you couldn’t even hear Champion’s League music in the ground! It was amazing. All through the match the singing never stopped. It was brilliant!
We started really well. Quite a lot of attacking and some really good passing. We looked better than we had done all season. It was great. Torres was doing lots of runs, and you could really see how fast he was. Inter were attacking towards the Kop in the first half and they didn’t even get a shot.
Mascherano and Lucas were amazing, especially Mash – he was making some great tackles. Babel was doing lots of runs down the left, and Dirk Kuyt was doing lots down the right. Stevie G was all over the place and Inter could hardly get the ball.
It got even better after half an hour because Matarrezzi got sent off, and suddenly we were attacking even more. It was quite funny because we all started singing “Attack! Attack! Attack!” but we already were attacking anyway! It was hard to believe at half time that it was still nil-nil.
In the second half Inter attacked more, but Finnan and Aurelio kept running forward down the wings so Inter couldn’t really attack too much. Rafa took Babel off after an hour and brought Pennant on. Babel had been good, but Pennant did make a difference. But we still couldn’t score.
Torres had two really good shots that Julio Cesar saved, and Hyypia had a header, too. Gerrad had a couple of shots and so did Finnan, but they wouldn’t go in. Then Rafa brought on Crouch for Lucas and we started to look really dangerous. Big Pete was winning lots of headers and playing nice passes to Torres. Stevie burst to the goalline and Viera handballed right in front of us, but the ref didn’t give a penalty. I couldn’t believe it!
But a little while after the ball came to Kuyt on the left and he smashed it into the net. The Kop went crazy. It was fantastic. 1-0! But then it got even better when the ball came to Gerrard on the right and he took a shot from out wide. It looked like it was going to miss but it sneaked inside the post. 2-0! The Kop went even crazier. If you look really hard at the TV pictures you can just see me and my dad going pretty crazy behind the goal!
The final whistle went. 2-0. What a win. They are first in Serie A. We are 5th in the Prem. But we won!!!

Match Report:
I was nervous this game because it was against Marseille and they beat us at Anfield, and we had to win to go through. Otherwise we’d be out of Europe, or in Uefa.
Then, nightmare, Gerrard looked like he was injured, but fortunately he wasn’t and, just two minutes later he scored a penalty – 1-0!! The keeper saved it but Stevie ran up and smacked it in. What a start!!
We looked really good. After another few minutes Kewell to Torres who went bursting into the box, past a load of defenders and the keeper came running out, and ‘Nando slotted it in the net. 2-0 and just 11 minutes gone!
For the rest of the second half we mostly attacked and we had a few more shots at goal – Torres had a few, Kewell shot over the bar, Riise and Gerrard shot wide with free-kicks. We looked ace!
Marseille were having to defend a lot. They had a couple of attacks, but Reina did really well – he even chased a Marseille player off the pitch.
Half time: 2-0! Brilliant!
The second half got off to another great start. After just 3 minutes, Kewell crossed the ball into the box and Kuyt was one on one with the keeper. 3-0!! We looked really strong. Makes me want to ask Rafa what happened at Reading!!
After that we had another few chances, but Cisse went close at our end. We kept attacking and eventually Aurelio played the ball through and Babel came zooming forward, passed it to the side and then stuck his right foot out, got the ball passed and did a mini-chip – and it’s in! 4-0 is fine with me!
We defended really well and Marseille never looked like scoring. Bring on Man U!!

Match Report:
I went to this match. I was very excited because we had to win it! We sat in the Kop, Block 105, Row 13, right behind the goal – ace seats!
We had to get off the coach by the Kop because nearly 2,000 people were marching teh other way singing songs for Rafa – we stood to watch for a few minutes before we went into the ground. The atmosphere was amazing – a bit like the semi-final against Chelsea last year. We got some great MP3’s from the Kop of us all singing which I’m going to put on the site soon.
We started really well. Torres made a good break and had a shot saved, we were passing really well, crossing really well – we just playing really well. Then, after just 20 minutes, Torres got free in the box and scored with a great header. After we scored, we looked like we were going to score again, but then Porto broke down the left, crossed it in, Lopez got away from Arbeloa, and suddenly it was 1-1. I couldn’t believe it.
After the Porto goal we looked really nervous, and we weren’t passing too well. After half-time, we still looked nervous, and me and my Dad kept looking at the clock. The whole Kop was beginning to get anxious. The only good thing was that we knew Besiktas were beating Marseille, so a draw may be enough, but we really needed a win.
Stevie G burst through and had a shot from the edge of the box. We thought it was going in, but it went just over the bar and suddenly I realised it was going to hit me or my Dad in the face!! It was very fast, and it would have hurt! Luckily the man in front of us put his hands up to stop it hitting him and it missed us. I was amazed how hard Stevie must hit the ball to make it go that fast!
Then, Fernando struck again with a fantastic spin and shot to score a great goal. 2-1! We all went crazy. We started shouting “Attack! Attack! Attack! Attack!” and the players did attack. Just a few minutes after Torres scored, there was a handball and we got a penalty.
The Porto goalkeeper tried to put Stevie G off, but he didn’t. Stevie scored and as he ran towards the Kop to celebrate, he stopped by Helton to clap him. It was really funny
Then just a few minutes after that we made it 4 when Stevie whipped a corner in and Big Peter Crouch got on the end of it to head it in. 4-1! A great result!
I really enjoyed this match! And it was even better because I was actually there to see it!

Match Report:
I went to Anfield to see this match with my dad – and I am so glad that I did!! Tonight we saw history made – Liverpool scored a record number of goals in the Champion’s League. Eight of them!!
We had great seats – we were in Row 13 of the Kop, right behind the goal. We had an excellent view of the match. The crowd was really loud – we did lots of singing – it was ace, but it made my lips hard! My dad had a sore throat at the end of the game!
Liverpool played really well. We scored early on with a good goal from Peter Crouch, and then a little while later Benayoun scored an excellent goal. Benayoun played really well the whole game. Our passing was much better than it has been, and we looked like a much better team.
In the second half we were unbelievable. We scored six goals – and they were all right in front of me. It was ace! First Benayoun scored, then Benayoun again, then Gerrard, then Babel got two and then Crouch got our eighth. When it was 6-0 we were all shouting “We want 7!” and then when we got 7, we were shouting “We want eight” and “Attack! Attack! Attack!” It was great fun!
Besiktas couldn’t stop us – we were awesome!

Match Report:
I am watched the football with my Dad on TV.
Babel had a good start, but he just couldn’t score. Stevie G had two good shots and Voronin had a good shot from a corner. Hyypia was unlucky when the ball hit him because it was goal to Besiktas: Carragher made a good tackle and the ball hit Finnan and went to Okzan who tapped it, and it hit Hyypia and went into the net past Reina!
Liverpool did not play very well in the first half at all! They weren’t passing that well and their shooting wasn’t that good either.
In the second half Pennant went through on goal but nothing happened. Then Babel had a cross, Voronin headed it back and Gerrard hit it, but it went past the post and missed.
Liverpool started playing well, and Benayoun came on for Pennant. Benayoun scored, but it was offside. Besiktas had a few chances on the counter-attack but didn’t score again, but then Lucas slipped, Besiktas went through and Bobo was one-on-one with the keeper, but he hit it over the bar. Then another counter-attack and this time Bobo scored.
But then a few minutes later, Gerrard had a brilliant header and it was a goal! We tried everything to score and defend at the same time, but we just couldn’t get it in the net because our strikers were not doing well enough to score. It was all too late and we lost. Now we are in deep trouble!
